Well some of you may remember my comments in this thread. I also know a few guys were concerned that I might not remember where and to who I was getting married. Well thankfully I can confirm that with the help of my best man, I did indeed find my way to the hotel and got married. Actually, other than it being the only day it rained within a two period, it went very well and both my wife and I had a great time. Oh, and the guests loved the story during the best man's speech.

Congratulations on the wedding!!! Very funny storey, only just read the whole thing last night, if it makes you feel any better i did a similar thing..... I live in devon and had a gig in london with my band so i borrowed a company van drove to london, did the gig, packed up the equipment and went for a beer..... The next morning i asked the guitarist, where's the van, dunno, my mate the came with me, can you remember, nope.... so no one knows where the van actually is...... well it can't be far, londons not that big...... took about an hour to find a shop we remembered and then a fair while longer to actually find the van, it got to the point where i was quite happy to leave the thing get the train home and have a nice chat with my boss on monday, the feeling of relieve when i turned a corner and there it was was so overwhelming i could of cried..... mind you, i was wasted that night.....

...
I went up to the tennis club and there she was, exactly where I left her.

..
I've a bad memory (never this bad before) but for both of us not to realise? I think the honeymoney can't come quick enough for both of us.

I now await your comments. I certainly deserve it! I don't think :beat: is strong enough!

Absolutely classic! Reading this thread i've experienced such a range of emotions - from anger, to hate, to disbelief, to absolute hysterics!

You numpty!

With a memory like that, you must be a caner.... ;)

I'm so glad it's ok, lol. I thought weddings were supposed to be a wonderful thing! Didn't realise they were so stressful they could cause complete memory blackouts! Ouch.

Congrats on finding the church and the right girl - I wish you a life full of less memory blackouts!
