This is the actual deprecitation from sales through trade recorded on the VX. i.e the real world not vx wannabe land!
Read where they got the info from "ACTUAL CAR SALES"
Joking aside, can you show me where it says that, I can't find any mention of that on the site.
I feel a hole load more rubbish coming
You're planning on sticking around then?

Certainly not a picture you'd see on the first page of google images if you did a search for ariel atom.
[OMG it's a picture of someone driving an Atom. Proof if ever there were!
And there was me thinking this was robins from the atomclub board...

By the way, from someone who is still in the trade, there are some cars that you do throw the Glasses guide out of the window when pricing and the VX is one of them. Z4 Coupes are currently selling for more than new as used cars because of the waiting list on them. These cars don't book at the moment but the guide at the front of the glasses says you should take off the VAT from the original price of any nearly new car to get a reflection of price (a ridicules thing to say anyhow). Guides are just that. Cars are worth what people will pay for them. As has been said before, its called Supply and Demand.
And you keep saying it's not a Lotus and doesn't hold it's money like one. Well for a K series engined Lotus the book price is more than a VX220 yet it will not fetch as much as it has a Shite engine.
And Letchworth There will always be Certain cases where people will accept less than their car is worth for say maybe a quick sale due to moving abroad etc. That does not mean that this is what these cars are actually worth but simply a case of somebody selling one of their possessions at a very reasonable price because it suits them. Coming into their house (or forum) and insulting them would tend to cause a reaction.
In this case I believe it's a reaction that means you will not get this a VX.
P.S If you already have one maybe you could show us a picture (although it may be an idea to search a bit deeper this time through the internet to find one to pass off as your own).(and not on VX220.ORG.UK)(or typewatever.wherever)

How Funny is that!! Did the search, first picture! Maybe someone should post a link on that Forum to this page. Think they'd find that highly amusing.

Good stuff Dean, but I think the clue may be in your sentence, "In this case I believe it's a reaction that means you will not get this a VX.
I would suggest what he really wants from members is a reaction not a VX, therefore he has got one here !!

70k for the below car but i am not putting in the stereo
Oi, tosspot!

I would not sell you my car if you were the last buyer on earth. You're obviously no old enough to drive for starters, but other than that I'm sure you would spank yourself into a tree in next to no time!

Can you not see how much of a tit you're making of yourself? Just fcuk off, join Type116.anal and go entertain yourself over there. Use lots of sarcastic comments, ask for handshandy and you will fit in just fine.

As for my car being £12k (not £12.5k as you suggested.), I will set you the challenge of finding a cleaner (used) VX220. If you find one, with proof (and it's not in jamesgray's garage.

Now go forth and multiply young man!

Oooh, that was a bit of a
