Don't think any are left flying, as I recall the one that did airshows is being made airworthy again but they're trying to get donations for a new main spar.

There is one that Taxi runs (how sad) every now and then at Wellesbourne just down the road from me. Speak to someone who flew it and one of the first things they will tell u is how cold it was! ;)

Imnotworthy

Saw a flight of these at RAF Finchley airshow as a kid. The all-engulfing noise that seemed to shake the world and everything in it, including me, combined with the fearsome implications of its nuclear delivery rôle made a HUGE and totally indelible impression on me – most awesome (in the true sense of the word) plane I've ever seen first hand – and that includes Concorde, marvel though that is.

Awesome is definitely the description, and though F-18's, etc are fantastic things too, the Vulcan was pretty unique at the time. Imnotworthy

Saw a couple of Concorde's parked at Heathrow yesterday when I got back from Australia. Very sad to say goodbye. I'd always dreamt of being a passenger oneday. Oh well... Paul
