i got a figure around 200hp@7800rpm at the wheels :) see if i´m right when it´s done B)

Dude, are we guessing that 200bhp at the wheels is 230bhp at the fly?

If so, why do our tuning companies only get 190bhp with extensive engine work?
I don't understand where your extra 40bhp is coming from. Have you stuck a supercharger on there?

Cool pics by the way.
Next time my exhaust comes off, I think I might wrap them. That a lot of heat :o

when you says that the tuningcompanies only get 190hp it´s really not comparable with my engine-configuration.
they are using the std intake or dbilas-type, modified exhaust and some mild cams.
add to this a remap and the power will stay at that figure.

i would be disappointed if we didn´t hit at least 200whp on the real race-engine.
if we let the engine rev to 9000rpm (the cams lets us do this if we dare) we should see around 230-240whp.

if i get the time this winter, i´ll do some modifying on my streetcar and see what we achieve with that.
the dream would be to outperform the big tuners B) , but i don´t think we can get there ;)

i must be the most unlucky guy on earth :( the car is raceready yesterday and we filled her up full, just to see a tiny crack in the bottom of the fuelcell. just sent a email to advanced fuel system to see if we can make a temporary solution til we can take the cell out again and send it back for repair. this car dont wanna be raced for sure

To my knowledge the result was pretty good too, second place in it's class in the seven hour race...

Dude is probably home sleeping now after a long race weekend, hopefully he will tell us the details in the next few days...

69....my favourite numberrr........

i got a keyring from a teammembers girlfriend, that said wine me,dine me and 69 me.
this is why we choosed the number :D :D

here is a quick racereport.

after successfully repaired the leaky fuelcell on thursday, we did the only testing of the car before the first race.

the test was about 6 lockups of the brakes on the parkinglot to see that the front locked before the rear.

i cornerweighted the car in a oldfashion way using a jack and a tapemeasure.

the shocks was put in the middle of the adjustmentrange for bump and rebound.

tirepressure was set to 1.9 cold (but the scale we used was showing about 0.5 too little  we just found out when it was 3 hour left of the race)

the 3hour race on saturday was only a shakedown to see which parts that was going to fall off and let our female newbie (helena) drive around an get to know the car.

the 7 hour race on sunday was a durability test for the car and drivers.
we did stints between 30min up to 90min and when the car was in pit we checked the things that the driver thought could be a malfunction.

we had no big problems and when there were 30min left of the race we agreed that we had tried enough and put the car on the trailer (just to humiliate the car that was chasing us and couldn´t catch up. they had been a little arrogant before the race :D )

i sat the fastest lap in the class with 1.09.541 and the second fastest team had 1.09.950. this felt soooooooo good.
they gave it all with their fastest driver in the last 30min (with new tires) to try to get the fastest lap B)

here is some fastest laptimes from other cars

porsche gt3 on slicks(380hp) 1.05.579
porsche 911 rs on slicks(300hp) 1.07.230
bmw compact (230hp and the winnerin our class) 1.12.009
vw golf rwd turbo(290hp) on slicks 1.08.218
bmw e30 v8 (350hp) 1.08.365
opel tigra (230hp) 1.12.211
renault megane cup (210hp) 1.10.582

the bridgestone re540 was great as usual, but i am really impressed with the wear of them.
after done 9hours on track (in race-pace) they have more than 70% left of the pattern thumbsup

now i need to get some more sleep ;)

nope!

but she has kartingblood in her veins. her brother raced in probably every class up to formel a .
she is one of the most talanted female kartdrivers i´ve seen.

her father was the manager of a kart-track and importer of haase-chassies.
he was sadly killed along with the whole anecto racingteam in linate a couple of years ago.
