it´s only too much if you don´t uses rims with more ET to eliminate the problem.robin, on Jan 2 2004, 17:57 , said:
15mm is each side = 30mm.15mm spacer all that you require thats not bad for AP upgrade!
do you recon the braking will be improved much with this mod?
For a car like the VX thats too much (IMO of course)
i have tried rims with up to 10mm lower ET without any negative response to the handling on the track.

a normal pedalgeometri is from 5:1 up to 7:1 depending of how you like the touch. 5:1 is hard and 7:1 is a little less hardI would appreciate more information on your brake balance bar assembly. I have considered this myself but as the pedal ratio is different to that of servo assisted brakes I didn't want to change the brake pedal.

you have to look on the whole system with areas on pistons in calipers/mastercylinders/pedaltravel etc etc.
in my system i´m going to put my front-calipers in the rear and replace it with the ap 5000.
this gives the same balance (% in pistonarea) between front and rear areas as original.
then i´m going for 3/4" mastercylinder on both ends(just to try out the balance).
probably i have to change the rear mastercylinder to a 7/10"-cylinder.

True of course but whole idea of using spacers should only really be contemplated if there is no other way.Thorney, on Jan 3 2004, 09:12 , said:

very soon, a trip to switz will follow...
hopefully the stuff will get here in the next two weeks.
the black that can be seen is the gelcoat that makes the hard surface and finish in the moulds, so the new parts will be smooth and losen easy from the moulds.
i will post more pics tomorrow and some more detailed info about all this.
i just came home from birmingham and the fair

i met an old friend at the fair that is working at laminova coolers.
he told me about a new superchargerkit (opcon/autorotor-charger and laminova cooler) that they have been involved in, together with GM. it´s a little bit secret, but i will inform you all when it´s near sales. it will be an GM official option for the saturn in the states, and will probably be adjustable for the speedster.
my friends uncle is one of the founders of opcon/autorotor in sweden, so i will try to get my hands on one kit when it´s ready.
it will be produced by a big global company. without a name
