Hi all Picked my brand new VX on the 23rd, and am absolutely over the moon with it, except for one slightly fogged up rear light cluster  I notice there seem to be a couple of other new owners who have been posting - is there anything we really need to know in the first few weeks/months of ownership that Vauxhall fail to tell us? Things to expect / not expect? Cheers all....

Congratulations !

You'll have a lot of fun, especially this summer

Well, keep in mind that it's not produces in big serie and reviability is not the same as a Vectra.

Nevertheless, it's only small things since the engine and gearbox are very reliable.

Personaly, the more I drive it, the more I love it

By the way, it's a good idea to improve sound by mounting a direct injection air kit, like K&N or similar

Fogged up rear light clusters v. common. I had mine replaced and the new one seems okay. Others say it's a watse of time replacing and they need resealing but my dealer did'nt offer that and I'm not getting into DIY. Other things to watch in my experience Sticky locks Damage to central console by seatbelt receptor Don't damage front bonnet by lifting wiper to far back Theres an optional ABS upgrade avaliable Getting to enthusiastic with your driving. Grip does run out eventually!!! Great car - Have fun.

I see what people mean about the fogged up lights - my left rear one is almost totally fogged up after only 4 days of ownership. That's pretty crappy....... Before I forget - the manual says about running the car in for 600 miles - is there any value in extending that? I am itching to floor the thing!
