I’ve bought TURBO-CC’s VTX so my 2.2 is for sale.

Posted Image

Spec as follows:

- Black VX220 2.2
- 03 plate (registered 06/03)
- Black leather
- 6k miles
- Mats
- Passenger footrest
- CD player
- Lovingly looked after

Offers invited above £17k.

I’m putting the car back to standard so that I can sell the following mods separately:

- Steinmetz grill: Cost £345, sell for £145
- Full Milltek exhaust (on car for 1k miles): Cost £840, sell for £500
- Viper induction (new): Cost £250, sell for £150
- Black diamond combi disks (new): Cost £290, sell for £190
- EBC greenstuff pads (new): Cost £63, sell for £40

Alternatively, I’ll chuck the mods in with the car for £18k.

I need to sell the car within a week, so get in touch now if you’re interested.

John

Sorely tempted by the Milltek, have no idea where I would find 500 quid though (plus insurance premiums)! There MUST be someway of finding the money... :beat:

If it wasn't for the insurance, I'd definitely take the Milltek. Does the £500 include you fitting it? ;)

Just out of interest, what was the performance increase after the mods were put on. Any figures? Do you notice the difference with the exhaust etc? I'm thinking of doing the same with mine

Any track days sb?? :P

Nobody should be put off because the car has been on a track. I treat my car with repect and service it regularly, and in return it's been as good as gold.

I'm sad to be getting rid of it to be honest. I read all the stories about faults and niggles and feel lucky to be driving a car that's perfect in every way.

Wicky: I'm not a fan of rolling road figures, they're too variable. I prefer to go on feel.

The car feels substantially smoother with the zaust and filter. It feels a lot quicker too. But best of all it sounds laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavely. :D

Save yourself the effort and buy mine. ;)

But if you want figures, AMD claim that with a switchable remap for £500 my car will be kicking out 175bhp+. B)

Sorry Murphster, if the car sells unmodified the exhaust will go to cheeky_chops. Alnd pablo's had the grill.

That leaves:

- THE CAR!!! £17k standard - £18k modified
- Viper induction (as new in box) £150
- Black diamond combi disks (brand new in boxes) £190
- EBC greenstuff pads (brand new in boxes) £40

I've also got braided hoses but they might fit the turbo.

Come on guys! Buy yourself an early Christmas present. (Thorney: Can we have a santa smiley please?)

Won't the brake pads fit the turbo? If not, I'd be interested in them... I'd also like the Viper, but can't afford it atm :( Edit to say: In no great hurry for the pads - I can wait till Hethel, and get em off ya then, if that's ok... I can send the money before that though...

Ummmmmmmmmm? Don't know? I think they're the same on the VXT. As are the disks. But I don't need them anyway.

The pads are Bengies if the car sells as standard.

That leaves:

- THE CAR!!! £17k standard - £18k modified

- Viper induction (Bengie's Xmas present? ;) ) £150

- Black diamond combi disks (brand new in boxes) £190
