:( Yesterday I went to the funeral of a good friend from MR2-ROC who died recently, and now I log on here and see this too... I may not have known the people involved personally but my thoughts are with their family and friends at this time. Dan

This news has been on my mind all evening. As said earlier, felt sick when I read this post any only just felt able to read poor the poor guys earlier posts - don't really know why I read them, but human curiosity I suppose. Brings it all home to you how life can be a f*cking bitch - you never know what is round the corner. Can't help feeling so sad for the poor girl's family. 22 years old. Strange really, how drivingt the particular model of car in which they lost their lives makes you feel.

I would like to donate to a family nominated charity too. So sad to think about this, we all step in to our cars on a regular basis and it could happen to anyone :(

Just came across this - I'm utterly lost for words, you don't even think twice about going for a drive. I guess anyone can run out of luck. I wonder what the circumstances were. :(

Having read through this thread again, can we get in touch in Norths Yorks Constabulary, they may be able to find out through the family a prefferred charity for our just-giving page. Someone could then put the link of cliosport and piston heads maybe. If the family don't have a prefferred charity then the ambulance service gets my vote too. This is very sad and has been playing on my mind since this thread started yesterday, mine and Denise's thoughts are with the all their friends and family. RIP Gareth and Laura, :( Ash

Truly saddened to hear such awful news. Can't begin to imagine what their families and friends must be going through. Don't post here now but would like to contribute if one of the mods could pm me when the giving details are up.
