Sounds superb cant wait till mine is finished as Im still doing it, Its taken me ages as Ive been doing bits after work at my dads and because its in his garage Ive had the luxury of being able to walk away when Ive had enough lol. Im on the home straight now and just tightening up from turbo back to the tail if you get what I mean, I had to trim/cut the heat sheild a bit where the u-bend bit is under the left rear as it wouldnt hang right otherwise, any one else have to trim the shield?. Also the oval backbox is sits at an angle but is it best to slope upwards towards the back or downwards or does it not really matter?, the last tailpipe joint is the work of the devil and needs a little sealant is fiddly to setup whilst not popping it appart when positioning th tails. Im sure it will all be worth it in the end but Ive ripped my hands to ribbons on the turbo heat sheild precat bit lol. Darren...

Got mine finished at last pheeew, not the easiest exhaust ive ever done but all done now. Scores a big fat arse on fitting when lying under car with bleeding fingers etc, but when your finished and you fire her up wow its all worth it. still not getting to drive her properly until thursday as Im out on the lash for the next two nights so thought it was best to leave her tucked up in the garage, probably rain on thurs now lol. Tip when fitting is to use some fine sand paper on the ends of the pipes that go into the slieve fittings, they have done such a good job of polishing them that the box refuses to grip properly however much you tighten the clamps on the joint. Darren....

So the bleeding fingers where worth it then? was it where the pipes join that was the problem to join and seal.

yeah well worth the effort but im typing with one finger because i cant find the others lol, the flange joint for the tailpipes is the work of the devil himself. But i had trouble where the two ubend parts connect to the exhaust box, because the pipes are so shinny when you do the clamps up they have to be really tight or you can rotate the box on the joint. The clamps are really strong but i thought i would break them i tightend them so much, so i sanded the ends that slide into the slieve joints which made all the difference now its really solid. Sounds soo nice, well happy :D Darren.....

i must admit the flange for the tail pipes is bitch this is where i needed someone to hold the tail pipes so they stayed straight i think they could of done with making the flange a bit bigger so the clamp can get a better hold of it
