Prob best if you remove me from the list as my plan for a 4-2-1 manifold-cat section are progressing quicker than I though they would and the custom exhaust place is offering free fitting if I/we get a back box as well. Plus the Fact that Larini haven't answered my email with regards to the pipe diameter, so I don't know whether it will be a big enough diameter.

I've got a few questions... please bear with me, I've searched, but only found rumours not answers! Is the Larini road legal? or will I have to keep the original system for MOTs in the future? Will changing the exhaust invalidate my warranty? does anyone know where I could get a definitive answer for this? my dealer is a bit cagey... If I fit a Larini, will I need a different stage 1 map when I eventually get this done? or will the normal TMS / Plans stage 1 map still work ok? I would like to go to stage 2 at some point too... I have only covered 1500 miles so far, will changing the exhaust at this stage have a negative effect on the running in of the engine? Does anyone know what the noise level is of the Larini? I want to ensure I won't be limited as to which track days I can attend. Thank you for all your help and patience! Antony

Well sorry i havent been around guys! Apart from having my rad. to deal with my home pc has been on the blink as well. Its a bit upsetting to see so many people not sticking to the group buy and allowing everybody to enjoy the 20% off and the possiblilty to include everyone who was originally part of the the group buy and needed time to find the money. Seems like we have till the 20th of june to contact dave at larini then. Is there a keyword we have to state to dave so he knows we are part of the group buy?

It's only an exhaust mate, no need to worry. But hope this helps...

1. Road legal? Yes.
2. Warranty affected? No. Dealers are wankers who try and put the shits up you? Yes
3. Different remap? No. Thorneys will be fine. I have a Stage2 with a Larini and have no probs whatsoever.
4. Engine running affected? Yes, it will sound better! Will not affect engine at all!
5. Too loud for track? Don't know the answer to this one...

Sorry i meant Elise Shop they are based in Holland and vat is payable as Marcus emailed them for a possible group buy, so it was decided to deal direct with Larini for logistical reasons
