John, I have alerted "our" Port's police & security just in case it is exported through here. You'd be amazed at the number and types of stolen cars about to leave the country we recover each week. (would be useful if you could let me have (PM) the chassis no etc)

Hope it turns up soon - can't understand what they plan to do with it now it's been nicked, though! As said, you can't exactly flog it on easily! I'm guessing it's running a custom ECU and has had all the unnecessary weight removed - which presumably means no alarm or immobiliser. I guess that made it an easy target compared to the more 'ordinary' VXs which I imagine you have a fair few of on-site too!

Bummer John thumbsdown Worrying that they knew what to take too :( I guess that since they nicked any amount of spares that the car will most likely be broken up??

Considering past events, could it be possible that......

I'll stop there! ;)

Sorry to hear about this John. :( Don't let this put you off racing. Seeing the VXs in the Elise Trophy races is an inspiration to all us VX owners. It must be amazing to actually be driving in it. It seems your car has the pace to be at the front so I'm sure your luck will come good soon. I'll keep an eye out for any parts being flogged on the web.

I work in a Northern Port and will do the same with our security & Harbour Police. If someone was exporting cars tho the most likely port is grimsby as they do a LOT of Ro-Ro.

Sorry to hear the news. Don't give up on the dream, just see this as a hurdle that you'll get past and back on the track racing again. It's in your blood. :)
