Winstar I think most of us really appreciate your efforts on this one. After all I think we all feel its a safety issue that the manufacturer should have been more responsive to. Group buys are generally a lot of hard work for very little reward other than the respect of your peers for taking it on. If in future we can make it any easier for you do let us know.

:jump: Went to have my geo done today - but had to be postponed as the track arm needs machining on the near side to get the best set-up, there are four shims in the off-side, but only two in the near side  Any chance I could get some by next friday (please please please) :)

Ok so I fitted the bolts into my rear hub carrier on Sunday to find that I had 45mm Gr 12.9 bolts fitted! This was a PITA as I then had to spend ages running a longer bolt in and out of the hole to clean out the rust from the thread. Now I’m not sure how people have had 55mm bolts (unless they’re measuring the head as well) as the rear 50mm bolt was just starting to come out of the hole. I’m running horizon Geo which has more camber on the rear but I don’t think is that extreme so the 50mm could be too long if you’re running a lot of camber. I also had to drop the shock off to get the ratchet at the front bolt. :beat: Now I found a couple of watch outs 1.If like me your original bolts are less than 50mm then you’ll need to run a longer bolt in and out to clean down the thread, or ideally a M10 tap. As if you don’t you’ll get a false torque reading when you do the bolt up. 2.Due to the low head design you need to be careful when you apply the torque as there’s less material to load up than in a std. socket head design. I found this as one of my 8mm Allen key socket attachments has larger chamfers on the corners so didn’t load up the bolt easily. I’ve got the first 13 set’s that I can send out so the cost are: 1 Set £4.50 + £2 P&P = £6.50 2 Sets £9.00 + 2.50 P&P = £11.50 This includes recorded 1st class delivery in the UK, assuming they’ll let me send them as a large letter not a package, however anyone in Yorkshire can pick them up for cash. Other methods of payment are either cheque or I’ve setup a Paypal account on the email address ROBERT(dot)WINSTANLEY(at)SKY(dot)COM I’m making no money on this, in fact the couple of pence I’ve rounded up to the nearest 50p won’t even cover the shoe leather of walking to the PO. So anyone paying by Paypal will have to add the fees, how much are these?

Excellent! Payment sent via Paypal. chinky chinky

So anyone paying by Paypal will have to add the fees, how much are these?

Unsurprisingly Paypals fees aren't very clear, but I think they will be 3.4% + 0.35 Euro as a worst case. So I've added 50p onto the cost of one set of bolts to make sure it's covered. If this doesn't work out, and you are out of pocket you'll have to let us know!

thumbsup For all the effort on this one.

Right I've just sent the first lot of envalopes out everything was fine with the ones with one set in but for the enevlopes with 2 sets in they are charging £3.08 postage so the P&P will need to be £3.50 on these. So hopefully those of you who paid by last night will recive the bolts tommorow, post strikes allowing.
