Andyroo,

You can get them from Marc, however they are graded at 12.9 instead of 10.9.

There have been may discussions as to these bolts being too brittle for the purpose, but at £4.50 cheap for a set of 4.

If you just want to replace the rear ones then you only need 25, as there sold in boxes of 100 and you need 4 the same length for the rear, the prob is the front has 2 longer bolts so need to be split between 50.

I'm not keen to do this again as it's been loads of hastle and I'm never doing a group buy on this site again.

You can get the Lotus ones but they're about £4 for the rear only. and £4.50 for 12.9's isn't cheap you can get them off the shelf from any bolt stockist.

Winstar - Do you want to do another group buy? The reason I ask is Spitfire Engineering just e-mailed me offering to do a similar thing but with the bolts plated. The plating is done per batch and as they get a lot of stuff done, including the tie rod kit brackets and bolts a whole load of extra bolts chucked in the plating tank won't make any difference. Shall I get a price?

PS, the real problem is not so much in the bolts themselves but in the camber shims and the ABS bracket. You have two coarse lumps of iron which are bolted together sandwiching shims which could be better finished and have a larger surface area. I'm having a set of stainless modified camber shims made up to go with my aluminium hub carriers (eventually) and aluminium steering arm mount (sooner) :)
