Apparently he was trying to escape Sun photographers chasing him on motorbikes , when they took the photo's through the passengers window.

Even though posting pics up is a dull thing to do - it's his own fault blah, blah, blah!! - it is quite worrying that someone actually reported him [make that very worrying] It's quite sickening to think that there is a 'dudley do gooder' on here that would go through such legnths.

I mean where does it stop?

Will this person[s] with a grudge go around blabbing about everything that this site does?

I for one will/would not organise anymore car runs/meets - nor would i post up routes! I also think it would be wise for others who do so - to do it all via PM thumbsup

It could be the end for L2B and the Chase due to an influx of sneaky Paparrazi and Plod!

Will this be the drivers view from future VX run windows

Lets hope not. :P

I think getting the Rags involved was the wrong thing to do - Police yes [maybe] - newspapers No.

I also find it amazing that they searched Ants previous post to find his mobile number  I've been on here for years and still can't work the fcuking search function!!

And where did they get that picture from???

I honestly thought it was streetboy after letting himself go abit - you know one to many pints and porkpie :D

Also is Ant Amish?

This is how far its gone. Its upsetting.

Lots of guests & advertising, I agree! If there are any women out there, size 14 or less with D or more cup size, who fancy a ride in one of these cars, contact me at tolksee@hotmail.com thumbsup

Great idea, wish I thought of it first. Same offer as above, but in a faster one ( mine does over 160mph , on track )

I bet Vauxhall wished they had paid some one to do 150 in a VX220 years ago the amount of advertising this is doing, they wasted all that dough on an old boy in a pair of dirty pants that almost sunk the VX. Meanwhile the Lotus boys are like 150, bloody hell!!! Cheese...

No-one likes a grass... but to say 'no harm done' is a ridiculous thing to say in any circumstances

No. This is a ridiculous thing to say...

If he had lost control and killed one of your relatives in the resulting crash, then no doubt you'd be asking for his eyes to be plucked out with a skewer.

You can say 'what if' about anything - it was an empty road ffs :beat:

Foxy, I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing with whether or not he should have done it (although IMO it was bl**dy stupid!). What I was saying is a commentator taking the 'no harm done position' is likely to be a hypocritical statement since their reaction might well be entirely different if they were personally affected

It's a bit stupid to post the speedo image on a forum, especially showing the road but the CPS will never get that to stick, beyone reasonable doubt? Not a chance! What's rather more disconcerting is everyone here jumping on the bandwagon! 150mph in a VXT isn't dangerous, certainly on an empty motorway! You've probably got more chance of killing someone pootling past a school at 30mph and certainly whilst driving at 60mph on a country road. I'm sure everyone here has got near the top speed in their VX on roads in the UK so it's a bit rich seeing him condemned for doing that kind of speed. Stupid yes, dangerous, no.
