Not sure about the scoreboards at the moment...

The leader is "Back to Elite" at 07:39.875

You're in 430th place and I'm in 489th. I guess they're resetting times for all the different cheats.

But...PureS3 seems to have disappeared from my scoreboard but he's still on my XBox Live friends list

Leader on 7:39? I don't get it. They better not have reset me, I'm nothing but a clean driver, no cheats involved in my racing.

Furthermore, we have begun doing some selective wipes of scoreboard times. Due to some hiccups with the scoreboard tools that were out of our control this week, we had to put the batch wipes on hold, which will mean that some of you got wiped while others did not. As we continue the wiping process this next week, you'll begin to see more continuous/consistent wipes across a much larger body. Currently, we are only wiping the no-brainer times -- the Elans and any times posted under 10 seconds.

Nor do I. He's not listed at the top of any of the individual track boards.

You seem to have completely disappeared from my scoreboard. You're not on the main scoreboard where I would expect you to be (around 35'47'') either.

So now, onto that other touchy subject that's probably on the tip of your collective tongues. The scoreboard wipe. No, we still haven't wiped the boards, but it's not for lack of a desire to clean things up. I've been pulled every which way this week between attending studio meetings and dealing with the Nissan tournament, I didn't have a lot of time to actually devote to the scoreboard situation. The truth is we are looking at alternate ways to satisfy the partial wipe criteria. The top 1000 may or may not do the job -- we want to make sure, since wiping again would probably be a bad idea and I'm sure you all agree. One of the ways we're looking to rid all possibility of an AWD-glitch exploited time is by deleting all entries posted after 7/23, which is when our first auto-update went live. And then there are various subsets of that query we want to do.

In the meantime, we will do the following wipes for sure after Labor Day Weekend: all Elan times, and all times posted that ran 10 seconds or less. I'll be popping onto the forums on and off throughout the afternoons next week to answer questions and interact with you guys regarding this and other issues. Be on the lookout for this thread to get unlocked when I show up. Thanks again for being patient everyone. This is a complex problem and there are no easy solutions.

Well Pure if you've done it once im sure you can do it again, it does seem a tad un-fair though... A few of my buddys list times have been wiped too. I havn't played Forza for a few months and i'm 1000th and something - which is nice! :P

It looks like anyone who has used a glitch while setting a time is getting ALL their times wiped. The glitches that I know of are: AWD glitch TT King Cobra 00:00.01 times Gear change / over-revving (I've seen 120,000rpm on a replay ) Lotus Elan upgrading

Did you use any of the glitches (see my previous post), even by accident?

I didn't even know they existed, why the heck have they wiped me. I'm away for a month so no chance of getting any times reposted in the near future. All that hard work down the pan.

Theres a new car [so im told] thats the next Elan on there, can't remember what it was, looks like a new scooby.. anyway its not super fast but it handles, i've seen some mental times posted with it. What was the glitch on TT did anyone know hoe to do it? I've also seen the over rev glitch.. I chased a fezza around Moooogelooo! that must have only used 3 gears - he was in the top 10 scores  This kind of cheating/glitching happened on ColinMac a few years back, in the end it was hardly worth playing - I was 7th in the world on there at one point, the two players ahead of me were 'paid pro gamers' the four players infront of them were 9-10secs ahead of our times - on some tracks they were even further ahead - which was impossible to do unless you had a cheat or gitch - this was proved while chasing their ghost cars, they would vanish off the track and morf back on a whole section ahead, it was soo frustrating :( :( All driving games [in fact all games] are the same, there will always be cheats on them, which is why i don't attempt record times anymore. Play amongst your friends list i say.

Apparently anyone int he top 1000, using Manual Transmission had their scores wiped, so that explains it... Quote from forzamotorsport.net "If you have posted a time in the top 1000 with the Elan, or have posted a time with MT before 8/25, all your scores will be wiped. Every time, in every board, across all boards (hotlaps, time trials, trueskill, career)." That's a f*cking joke.... excuse my french. Ah well, there is photographic evidence there that shows my total time anyways :-) A lot of legitimate MT drivers are in the same boat as me, nowt we can do about it. Why to cheaters ruin every half decent enjoyable online game? poof

There was a few weeks worth of discussion on the scoreboard wipe. They couldn't single out all of the people that cheated (maybe it wasn't possible) so it was either a complete wipe for everyone, or a partial wipe for only the quickest (top 1000), which is where all of the glitchers will be. The reasoning for the partial (top 1000) wipe was that the genuine people will easily be able to do it again, whereas the glitchers will get nowhere near. I hadn't done them all so my total time was lame, but the tracks that I had done were quick. Probably all top 300-400 I reckon, so I might have to do them again but it's not really a big deal.. we all know who the fastest people are here.. :)

Indeed, just annoying that all that time spent trying to get decent times and messing around with car setups was wasted. Good job I saved my setups. Double gutted that I won't be able to have another go at them for over a month, which means I will be rusty as hell when I get back. Hopefully tho, when I do them all again, I should be ranked even higher than I was previously which will be nice as there won't be any cheats and glitchers to contend with. Took me ages to get my Nurburg ring time too! LOL Ah well.

Top of the overall leader board is still "Back to Elite", but the time is now -21:-11.-629
