Jase, what times are you getting round the ring? I think my fastest with all the aids off is 6:38 but there's kids up there with 5:58!!!! I know I can get round faster but cannot see where theres 40 seconds to be had...

Did a 6:32 this morning, although there's prob at least another two seconds in there for me on the current car setup if I can do a clean lap - that time was with a few dodgy moments, overcooking it in coners and having to slow right down.

Also, my car tops out at about 175-180mph. I reckon less downforce would free up some more speed in the massive flat out sections which would be worth another big chunk of time, although the chances of losing it big time under braking/cornering would be hugely increased and I haven't got the patience to sit there doing 50 crap laps, trying to put in one clean one.

I have a 6:33 now... I know it can be done quicker but there's folk up there with 6:15 all aids off!

OK, could be better too

You can view individual track times on forzamotorsport.net too, so you can see where you need to make up most. You can also race against your friends ghosts (or indeed anyone's) - press the scoreboard button at the point you select a track, and then you can select a driver to download their ghost.

Edit: Oh, and regarding your MSN earlier, I use the standard wireless Xbox pad - think I tweaked the steering deadzone down a little in the controller options (although that has made it a little twitchy)

the good thing about being rubbish at Forza is that it doesn't take much to move up places I'm up to 5,915 now
