I'm thinking of buying this game, is it also worth getting the wireless wheel?

This game with the wireless wheel is the best and most realistic game i have ever played! IMO - 500,000 times better if you use the wheel! Its like Project Gotham 3, they say the only way to even come close to the lap times set by the pro's is to use the force feedback wheel with Manual gears! :) Contol pads just dont cut it.... rallly

Took me ages :beat:

Shame we can't transfer graphics between friends.

Happy for someone to 'gift' me a car, I'll add the web address (rear and sides) and then I'll gift it back to you to save a bit of effort :grouphug:

I have to agree 100%

I played the demo with controller, seemed great, then got a wheel (M$oft one) tried it and at first didnt like it (initial turn in was v sharp) but after some practice got used to it, got the full release of the game and played with wheel for first 8 hours :D , then tried the pad again and WTF!!!! it was like playing a different game, controll was awful.

The wheel really does add to the simulation experience.
I did find playing with it on my lap to be rubbish though, and once attatched to a stable surface enhanced the experience again even further.

It helps to set it at the right height, reach etc.

Guess what mine is attatched to???

after much deep thought, I had a moment of inspiration and attatched it to my ironing board lol!
Fully height adjustable and can move it for reach, and also v stable as its wide!!!!!!

I can post pics once I get home from the office, it looks quite funny but works a treat!!!

You two don't live with your girlfriends do you? :gayfight:

I would get some very strange looks off our lass if I tried that kind of setup.

Got it and.....Loving it!!!! rallly

Wonder if I could wangle the wireless wheel for Fathers day??

I'll suggest it to my better half + daughter... and expect the joy of laughter to fill the air.. :tumble:

It would keep the wife away from the ironing board anyway (yes I used my pS2 GT4 force feedback doofa in the same manner)

Loving the graphics on yer motor "Silverback" but not too sure on the "one exhast pipe" poking outa the back.

May grow on me. chinky chinky

Got the wireless wheel today for use with Forza 2 B) . I can't leave it all fully set up due to a destructive 1 year old (and sometimes just get the odd half an hour to use it), does anyone know if there a way to use the wheel without the pedals? i.e. use the shift paddles for acceleration and braking
