the kind of "flairing" either side of the mount just below the bolt....be it funked?

Mine's like this too - so either they're both shagged or it's supposed to be like that :D

hmmmmm still not sure lol. what with GM being consistently crap, it might be a consistent fault. but the again both sides are like it but i never noticed before. also if you can see the top spring platform is crumbelling away :s nice. good excuse for spax

to be honest i cant be arsed with group buys... you get naff all off despite minimal parts costs etc... the best price ive found is potn @ £491ish inc vat and delivery.

Good price - did you haggle them down to that? Seems to be on their website at 514.99 inc. VAT and delivery.

It doesn't seem to look too bad in the pic (or at least it's in one piece)
Is it when you try to remove the spring/damper it starts to break up :huh:

no, its if you touch it with yer finger it crumbles..... the backs are similar but not as bad as the fronts (expected tbh)
