Well have to find out, but already have the turbo-ears fitted and that's why we adjusted the lid so more cooling will be possible for the engine. If it works thumbsup if not, no problem... Will still have a great looking car, but it would be great if that would work out. Seems to work on the Toyota engines in the Exige, so will give it a try...


You need to build a shield and flow path like this....

Yes that's also the idea. Put some sort of tunnel from the scoop to the intercooler. If that won't work we will put the oil cooler on that spot and the intercooler in the front of the car.

Been to the paintshop today, they will paint it white tomorrow. Then the metallic and the "pearl" layer and then it will go to Lotus on thursday. Then the car will be finished around wednesday!!!

This is the paint without the pearl, metallic and final paint! That will be done tomorrow!

i would of said black mesh would of suited the car better. other than that looks like a VERY nice job.. cant wait to see it finished.

Looks really great so far Steven, any plans for the interior? I.e. CF seats or similar... Noticed that you even managed to fit Elise rear view mirrors. thumbsup

Well, I already have a Lotus Elise Gt seat with 4 point seatbelts. CF doorpanels, black windowwinders, black leather tunnel (done by Lotus), airbag removed and DTM snap-off steering wheel(so different for the Lotus ones) and the dash has been covered by black alcantara.... So should be ok for now.... :P
