Bought new Mintex 1144 brake pads - front and rear - a few months ago thinking that the current set needed replacement (as said the Vauxhall garage) only to see that the existing pads were only half worn. My VX has since departed and so I want to move these on... Still in their original box, cost £117.44 from Elise parts new. Relative to standard VX pads, they grip harder; less pedal pressure for the same retardation. They don't squeal and I reckon are spot on. Let me know if interested - suggest will mail upon reciept of money and looking at £100...? Sam

Where abouts do you live incase collection is a possibility? I need to get pads, discs and fluid replaced at some point and was planning to get 1144 pads so...possible. I'm not rushing just yet so don't hold on to them if you get an offer
