*) Member of HPOC hilux pickup website, so you can see all the trucks history since i've owned it!

This truck has had a lot of work done to it since i bought; all the suspension has been re-done, the engine was transplanted from a 3.0 surf, its had a cross-over steering conversion which is essential on a big truck like this. Before i had all this work done it was very dangerous at speed and would tram-line widly on the motorway above 40mph - be wary of other big trucks without cross-over steering and sorted tracking, they will be a danger!

The engine conversion completely changed the character of the truck - before it was slugish to say the least, you'd have been lucky with 50mph, now it will go as fast as you dare (can easily hit 70mph on the motorway) and because its a turbo it doesn't hang around either, its actually pretty beefy and the best part is because its a diesel you'll still get around 25mpg!

I used it everyday to commute to work and back, it even fits in a parking space! I'll be sad to see it go, it really is a complete beast of a machine and gets smiles and really positive reactions wherever it goes from everyone; young, old, chav, toff - they all love it! But its not getting used enough so it needs a new home...

This would make the perfect mobile advertising board for a company, or just a giant toy!

Will have a full MOT and years tax on when sold.

This would cost a fortune to build from scratch, i estimate about £10k

my work parking space is tiny, or else i would :)

It litterally does fit in a parking space - my work spaces are tiny as well. It even fits through works narrow gated entrance.

Put it this way, it'll fit in a tescos parking space no problem...

Theres a large and elaborate hatch in the grass which allows the truck to join the road via a series of underground ramps...
