I did think that too, but will see when the badge is back on the front of the V. The windscreen surround has been wrapped in carbon fibre and it's been done to an excellent standard so seems a shame to remove it. We'll see anyway.

Looks nice. Do you still have the black fuel cap?

It was just painted so I just used paint stripper on it.

I didn't care for the black bits, so the window surround has returned to silver as well as the wheels (refurbished) and full set of new badges (bloody expensive!) and treated it to new tyres all round. Oh, and I washed and polished it.

I very much like the OEM look on a moonland VX as there are just the right amount of silver bits. I've also bought a new moonland hardtop but I won't be fitting that until it snows. I am geordie remember.

Looking good! Assume you didn't sort your soft-top after the cleaning disaster...? Still looks a bit off-colour - or is it just the photo?

My thoughts as well. You don't realise how high it looks until you compare it to a lowered one.

Arf! Does it have a touring pack? If so you've probably bought another one of my old VXs!

It does indeed. Although didn't your Moonland go to Jimbob in the end?

From my investigations it was jakbvx's who bought it from wick who bought it from...?

Yep. The Exige suspension also doesn't help the huge gap between the tyre and the wheel arch, but it does handle well ;)

No it was the silver turbo that I sold to jimbob. A moonland turbo with red leather, red roof and a touring pack replaced the silver turbo...

Hmm - original plate was GX03DTF then it had S2 VXT on it for a bit. It did have a full Milltek but then that may have been replaced at some point.

Well stone me. Looking through the history confirms it used to be GX03DTF. Your cars do get themselves about a bit don't they!

Well, no they don't get about cos you just hoard them yourself instead  :P

How's it running? When I had it it had a *really* poppy/bangy map on it.

Oh and when are you going to progress onto buying my old TVR?

The day I buy a TVR is the day I lose my mind!

And yeah, it now has an MMG map on it and Powerflow exhaust. I think when it was in your possession it might have had a TMS map on it?
