Will certainly be there by then Sam. Actually, thinking about it, I could give them to one of my friends (who works at Marshalls) to take to work and if I give you his name and department you could collect them from him? No chance of them getting lost and would save some money in postage costs? If that's OK, I'll get him to take them to work on Wednesday?

absolutely no problem if he could leave it to my attention at the security gate that would be great. I will have lots of meetings & work this week, don't know if I'll have free time to seek for him at MA

Have you returned you old joints? If so, when and to whom? If they've been sent to me I'll turn them round the same day.

Hi Paul, Will you be sending my replacements out soon as my car is now booked in for it's gearbox & exhaust swap. I would like to get the old Tie Rods swapped out at the same time. Also what is your best estimate for when the brace bar will be ready for shipping? Sorry, but I'm trying to get everything on my car done at the same time as I have to trailer my car to Courtenays and from where I live it's a long, long, long way! Cheers Max

I replaced mine today the bolt which goes through the hub- Question, it is tightened to 45nm but is that enough to pull it into the recess to it fits snug?

Posted Image

How much should show below the hub? if that makes sense?

Spitfire will confirm in a sec, but it should be. From memory there's 5-7mm of the collet which sits inside the hubcarrier. If you look from below you will see how large the recess is. It should fit in there relatively easily, i.e when taking them out they're a bit too snug to pull out with your fingers but you will be able to rotate it with your fingers.

They appear to be a bit too snug  I don't think they are sitting all the way in. The good thing is I can remove them again because it uses a bolt rather than the original method which required quiet a bit of work. Do you have the size of the full collet so I can check how much is in by how much is showing. thumbsup
