They appear to be a bit too snug  I don't think they are sitting all the way in. The good thing is I can remove them again because it uses a bolt rather than the original method which required quiet a bit of work.

Do you have the size of the full collet so I can check how much is in by how much is showing. thumbsup

Are you sure you don't need an M12 turbo versioned collet?

that should not be snug, but on my kit the lack of a chamfer on the large spacer was making the screw hard to pass through, try to see if all the sharp edges are removed on the holes the torque on the hub side should be 65Nm not 45  and make sure you discard the nylstop nut each time you remove it, that must not be installed 2 times on safety devices - risks of becoming loose -> shear of the screw -> off the road -> ouch chinky chinky

Received my new joints last weekend. Fitted with no problems. Thanks thumbsup Any idea when the subframe brace is likely to be finalised for a VXT with a Miltek?

About 2.5 weeks. There will only be one version of the brace bar, which will allow the bar to be mounted 15mm lower than the tie rod kit and will be adjustable in 2 planes. It will go down as low as the subframe will allow it to mounted if you see what I mean... Will either fit, or it won't :)

Hi Paul, Any news about our joints (2-20 and myself) ? 2-20 told me about the name error on the shipping... I have checked with my "concierge", no sign of anything for Marco Polo (anyway, the postman must have seen on his own that this name isn't listed on the building's mail boxes)

If there is an insurance, it's going to be time to use it.

Will speak with Spitfire on tuesday but if we're lucky we may have all the components next week :D

As an aside, this is why you need the brace bar...

Elise 111R subframe which is similar in construction but they have added the large box section at the bottom to brace it.

As the components were made especially for the VX series both the toe-link only kit and the full kit are currently available. :)
Contact Paul directly or U2U him.

Cannot comment on the prices though, the brace will definately be a lot more expensive as all the changes and re-modding left me with a loss :(
But they look gorgeous so I don't mind :)
