I've not had a brace bar to test fit fully as the brace rod ends are stuck at an RAF based but I should have some on 9th Jan.

Just thinking about this kit and was wondering if any one has fitted the "Eliseparts Series 2 GT Rear Hubs" ? and if indeed they are a bolt on. I know they're 4 bolt hubs, it's the carriers I'm interested in (double shear).

Nikov, I'm helping Spitfire develop some of those aluminium uprights, albeit improved versions for the VX. Also looking at a zero bump steer steering arm kit. No ETA on those but they're in the pipeline.

Muncher, I've put myself down for the tie rod and brace kit. Do I owe you any money yet or are the people that have paid just in for the tie rod only kit?

I only want money if you want the tie rod only kit as those will be ready first.

So I've been a bit premature with my payment? No matter at least you've got the brass for when the kit arrives thumbsup

With regard to the ali uprights, how do you mean 'improved'? pm me if you don't want to compromise yourself on a public forum. I may wait for these depending on cost/time/improvement

Cheers

Niko

Woohoo, I have 13 tie rod kits here, some for the VX and some for the VXT. :D Those who wanted just the tie rod kits on the list, I can take payment and dispatch them now. If anyone has said they want the full brace bar kit but needs an urgent geo or new tie rods soon then you can have ythe tie rods now and fit the brace bar when that's finalised as it simple bolts onto the tie rod bracket without requiring a geo change or anything, you only need to take the rear undertray off for that. I'll be sending some out today hopefully.

LOL, sorry I forgot to reply to you chap. Initially it would not have been a problem as we were going to machine it as a washer type component but then we changed that and to move the joint away from the subframe made it in the form of an inch or so thick collet seem above, which wouldn't be much use for you :( The only way I could get you a slotted washer would be to have one machined especially but it would require two lots of CAD and be silly expensive as one offs :( You're welcome to have a complete kit if you would like though.

Incidentally the full brace kits have proved more expensive than anticipated so these the one for the group buy will be made at a loss and the price will rise after those by about £60 or so apparently.
