All the components in the NA kit. The large bolt above has a special locating collet for the bracket hole. The two outer faces of the bracket which can't be seen in the picture have 2 holes for bolting the additional brace bar bracket on. The large hole on the outer tab is where the brace bar bolt goes through the subframe.
Outer joint machined collet, custom made collet fits like a glove into the rosejoint. All other the components have been plated, even the tiny washers, or in the case of the bars themselves, hard annodised.
Same joint again, note the 3 washers sitting on top of the collet which allow you to specify you own amount of bumpsteer by varying these.
The complete turbo kit.
The locating collet which sits the inner joint in the groove on the subframe, the same as on the NA kit.
The outer joint on the turbo kit. Features a two piece tapered collet to sit inside the different turbo hub carrier recess. It also has an M12 bolt rather than an M10 bolt on the NA.
All bagged up.
Bracebar kit with 2 rosejoint ends, with any luck I should be able to fully fit that tomorrow.

Thanks very much. I spent this morning grovelling about under the car offering up the bar with the new brackets, it's pretty tricky making sure there's enough clearance all round. We've finally settled on exactly where it's going to go. It's far enough away from the engine mount, it's as far away from the cat section as I can manage and my cat I don't think is physically smaller than the standard or any other cats. The tightest room is next to the undertray as when the brackets are extended to the rear of the car to clear everything else it gets very close to the undertray as it slopes up. A few more mm will be taken off the bracket and some stainless steel and nitrile spacers will sit in between the subframe and the undertray just to bring it away from the brace bracket a little more.
Tomorrow I'm dashing off straight from football to meet Joe Turbo at a service station on the A12 to offer up the brace bar on the turbo to see how it looks on there. (At the moment I have no idea if it will fit or need completely redesigning for the turbo)
Some sneaky pics

Looks very nice...
Having your picture as a reference, I will try tomorow to have a look (and a picture) at my setup to see if the brace may fit...
Reasonably confident it will fit on any NA (talking about the brace) as the path it takes is very close to the undertray so no cat section should really interfere.
I met up with Joe Turbo (thanks Joe) today at a BP forecourt on the A12 to take off his undertray and offer the bar up. It's VERY tight with the Miltek in there and we won't be totally sure about what needs adjusting until I fit the tie rod kit to Joe's car next saturday hopefully, then it can be properly offered up. The brackets may well need to be adjusted for the VXT, we'll see I guess.
Note how close it gets to the exhaust. If you move it down it will hit the undertray. If you move it too far back the extended brackets would then hit the undertray. It can't go up or towards the front of the car as that would hit the exhaust. It's a bit like threading the eye of a needle!

just an after thought, is this something that you should tell insurane about? if so how do you explain/describe it?
Hmm, not really, it's not a performance part, there's no theft risk and it costs less than the standard parts, it's a replacement of a consumable part and if you don't have the brace it doesn't do anything the standard part did, it's just stronger and more durable. That said, it's up to you and if you were going to tell them about it, it's a rear toe link or tie rod. I doubt they'll even have provision for it on their systems.

Hi Muncher, where are we up to with this kit?
Cheers
ps Ali uprights?
The tie rods are finalised and i have ones here to be sent out. On saturday I'm test fitting a bracebar to a turbo with a Miltek to check if there is enough room, as soon as that is done the brace brackets will be finalised and sent off for machining.
Ali uprights will be a while longer, to make them perfect and better than anything else around. There's not even a prototype for them yet.
