Today I managed to find some free time (not easy : pregnant wife, small boy and house transfer... )
Anyway, here are the results on a N/A Speedster (well ) and a Milltek exhaust (a broom stick was sacrificed in the process) :
-> Full size
-> Full size
Seems way too short....
As you can see, I could not even set the stick at the same level as the tie-rods bolts...
If you need other pics, I can mail all of them (6)

Right guys, as we first thought the brace bar is proving to be tricky to get to fit, due to the massive number of permutations of different exhausts and even to a certain extent how the system hangs in the car. The state of play as we see it at the moment:
VX220 with Scorpion Exhaust - Brace bar fits
VX220 with Miltek exhaust - having seen Marco Polo's photos it's marginal whether we can get it in there
VXT with Miltek Exhaust - Should fit with slightly altered brackets which we'll have this week
However until we get the kits out there and get data (photos) of the tie rod brackets in place we can't be sure what cars it will fit without issue, which ones can be made to fit with a universally altered bracket and which ones there's just no way of getting clearance due to the exhaust.
What we would like to do is get everyone's tie rod kit shipped and fitted as there is no doubts about this fitting whatsoever, then when it is fitted if you can take a photo showing a straight line from one bracket to another we can tell you whether we think a brace bar will fit in there. At this point you can pay the extra £100 + £5 postage and we'll send you a brace bar kit which should fit. To fit the brace bar kit onto a car with the tie rod kit fitted is a pretty simple job, just remove the rear undertray and bolt it on. The existing kit does not need to be removed and it can all be done on the ground behind the car, you don't even need to jack it up.
This should give us valuable data so we can amend the existing bracket designs and build up a picture of how the massive range of exhausts fit.
The only other way of proceeding would be for me to fit trial fit a bracket to a car every weekend with a different exhaust, then get them back to fit a modified bracket. That's a process which could mean a huge amount of work for me and could drag on for a long while!
The important part is the tie rod kit, that's the safety critical part and the part which wears out, causes knocking noises and can fail.
To keep things simple for me I'd like people to copy and paste the following, filling it in and posting me a cheque.
