Ah sorry, I read that too quickly, just the money for the tie rod kit only at the minute.
Guy - It's impossible to tell in advance really as it depends on the exact position and angle of the exaust. If you can get photos from one tie rod to another then I can make an educated guess.

muncher, does the tie rod brace go directly from the one bolt to the other? or does it drop down or anything??
cheers
No, it drops down and comes outfrom the subframe by about 100mm.

err, ill let muncher reply to that one
I had a geo done by sinclaires after, they said that it looks like a good bit of kit and it should be availiable from eliseparts.com at some point?
The hardest bit is getting the old joints undone which are just a case of loosening bolts which is considerably easier if you have the car on ramps or axle stands. The actual fitting part is easy. Eventually the VX version will be available from Elise-shop.com but they won't have exclusive rights to the kit.
Elise-shop.com have the Elise version for sale now which is cheaper to make than the VX one and costs £336.64 (at todays exchange rate) for the toe link only kit including VAT and delivery. Just shows what a stunning price this kit is with the group buy!
