Hi muncher, if i want the full kit do i send payument for it all now or just the tierods now & money for brace when they are ready?

Ah sorry, I read that too quickly, just the money for the tie rod kit only at the minute.

Guy - It's impossible to tell in advance really as it depends on the exact position and angle of the exaust. If you can get photos from one tie rod to another then I can make an educated guess.

No, it drops down and comes outfrom the subframe by about 100mm.

10 kits are now out there or will be tomorrow so hopefully we can get some data back from these ASAP.

err, ill let muncher reply to that one :rolleyes: I had a geo done by sinclaires after, they said that it looks like a good bit of kit and it should be availiable from eliseparts.com at some point?

The hardest bit is getting the old joints undone which are just a case of loosening bolts which is considerably easier if you have the car on ramps or axle stands. The actual fitting part is easy. Eventually the VX version will be available from Elise-shop.com but they won't have exclusive rights to the kit.

Elise-shop.com have the Elise version for sale now which is cheaper to make than the VX one and costs £336.64 (at todays exchange rate) for the toe link only kit including VAT and delivery. Just shows what a stunning price this kit is with the group buy!

just to let you've got you know my tie rods have arrived today at midday :groupjump: :groupjump:
got to say if anyone is thinking about getting some, JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!! as i'm sure that they work out cheaper than paying vxl for the standerd ones that they don't even supply!! :rolleyes:
they are very,very well made and look far better in the flesh that on the photo's!!

Glad you like them chaps :) The new batch of kits have hexagonal inserts for easier spannering and the NA outboard collets now have lovely sculpted sides to lose about 20 grams from them, every little helps :)
