Sorry, a quick question before I order, is it possible to have the dashplate without the small left-hand cut-out where the VX220 plate is rivetted to the dash? (Mine was scratched by a dealer years ago and I'd rather cover it up.)

I've asked him the question - I guess it will depend whether a new mould is required to do it :unsure:

Nope, the laqcuer is 2k so strong, he has also said that it is uv stable, so will not yellow thumbsup

However, if you were unlucky enough to scratch them (or scuff etc etc) he can re-apply the laquer without the need for buying a new set - bonus :)

RE the possibility of getting the dash plates made with no small hole for the plate, I'm afraid it would require a completely new mould, so costs would be very high for 2-off :(

BUT... why not just order a new nameplate (no.25) :blink: :)

Carbontec have requested email addresses (should have thought of this earlier as per handle guard gb :rolleyes: ) Please could everyone add their email so that Carbontec can keep in touch over progress :) I'd suggest using '(at)' instead of '@', or if you'd rather not post it up, PM me thumbsup VIX - I have some carbon fibre sheet here, with 3M adhesive backing thumbsup (left over from making some 'mud/stone guards which I still haven't fitted!)

I also have these carbon handles, so have a spare set of the originals if barry wishs to make a mould from them, would like the knobs in carbon too if possible thumbsup

Yep, The handle guards were under a previous group buy to the door cards, and can be ordered vis Carbontec's online shop separately thumbsup

To anybody getting the door cards: If you are replacing your leather turbo door cards then let me know what you want for the old ones. Edit: Prefer black but would consider yellow.
