Only that... it's an Opel Speedster, not a vx220. The car is Swedish-sold and is still to be found in Sweden. 

Just to sort things out, 0008 is the dashboardnumber/die Limitierungsnummer am Armaturenbrett.

My VIN number is: 0057 (?) - referring to the image below.
What about those other numbers on the same label? I'm specially curious about "*98/", it says "*2001/" on your example pic (http://forum.opel-sp...e=post&id=17588) which makes me wonder. It's an old speedster, but that old...

Btw. The dashboard number-list still needs one more correction; the car is from Sweden not from the UK!

Completely missed this thread. Mine is a silver VX220 NA, VIN No 4176 registered at the end of September 2003. Looking at the other numbers I guess my car was sat around for a year or two!
