LONG RANGE FUEL TANK: Retail Price = £611 inc VAT

Group buy offer (Qty 1 – 4) = £545 inc VAT

Group buy offer (Qty 5 +) = £510 inc VAT

To be honest i was expecting a little more discount than what has been provisionally given and have expressed my concern and asked Alex at Pro Alloy and Mark at Courtenays to review the prices and try to come back with a further discount.

To be honest with the 10+ interested in the fuel tank, I would expect a discount at around the 25% mark, at the current discounts being offered; I won't bother. chinky chinky

Il wait until i get everything from courtenays on tuesday and then make a definate list. I wanted to put the provisional price up so that people can have a look at the expected saving and have a think over the weekend.

Thread now on seloc so hopefully gete some more interest.

Hi all

Really surprized that some are a bit disapointed at the level of discount being offered. I often think that people don't realise how much work goes into building these products. All the parts are hand made here in our own workshops, not in China! and a great deal of care and attention go in to ensuring that everything is made to the highest standard, all of this takes time and costs money.

We always try to be as competive as possible with our retail prices, this then means that the margins get very tight when we start discounting the products.

These prices really are very good..... More than £100 off the fuel tank, nearly £300 off the CC kit, free carriage :o. You will not find genuine Pro Alloy products for sale cheaper anywhere else. thumbsup

I'm interested in all of the products but I live in Sweden, does the free carriage include shipping to Sweden?

Best regards

Hi Meagy,

That was actually one of my collegues that you spoke to and i believe was just an estimate based on some previous group buy figures for different product ranges, and was before we'd had the opportunity to work out what the bottom line is for these products. Sorry if that caused a bit of premature optimism.

As i said earlier these prices really are very good. thumbsup

Well put it this way i spoke to a company the other day who make foam filled fuel tank, i showd them mine & gave them dimentions of what i wanted & they said they could do it for 350-420 depanding on how much it costs them to get the swirl pot ring machined! (3-4 weeks wait after they receive my old tank to produce tho). I know a guy who make full alloy rads for 200 but he`s so busy with grass track work he cant take orders till may he said!!

Im not trying to ruin this group but by any means, pro alloy obviously have done there homework & there products are top-notch but im just letting you guys know what else is available if prepared to wait for developement!

but in answer to your question guy im `in talks` atm

damn...... why cant pro alloy take the money directly?!?!?!?!?! surely this is causing a price bump too as c0urtenay wont be supplying them for free. I'll have to pay someone else and they can buy two. I flat out refuse to give money directly to ANY of the tuners in the vauxhall scene.

Is the proalloy website wrong?

It's just odd that courtenay aren't on there as a distributor, but their Head Office is?
