What about the Courtenay exhaust system.

I have just the rear box at the monent. Makes a good sound, 92db.

Good quality.

I bought it as I was told by regal and Milltek that I couldntb just get the rear box, and that was all I wanted at the time. The courtnenay one, you can buy in stages.

Martin S

That's odd. Regal supplied & fitted my backbox just over a year ago.

You've also always been able to get the Miltek in stages too

John, in stages?

Does that mean that once I have bought the back box, I then don't have to but the full system, I can just but the front part?

Unless I am mistaken (and I may well be) the noise level stated for the standard exhaust in the table is incorrect. Stu Harris appears to have confiormed that Vauxhall had to meet 74dB (with a +1, +1 tolerance?). . If that is the case, it really highlights the increased volume these alternative exhausts put out! Oh, if only my insurance company would let me do anything at all to the car!...I await September eagerly!

This must be a different measurement to whatever we're used to. I think standard VXs usually register around 89db at track days?

Why no courtenay in the list. I have a Courtenay back box. Good sound, quieter than the Vauxhall one, cheaper than the vauxhall one and good quality. Martin s

Glad to see we are bearing up well in a world of such good and equal competition. I think i may have to offer a club discount if there is enouth interest in them. We also make a few of the other manufactures you have mentioned, but i will keep you guessing as to who ;)

I saw John at the show. nice guy. If he wants to give me a call i can sort out that club discount.

Regards

Garry

Do you think a Piper group buy might be a option for April? I'm looking for an alternative for my Milltek Backbox. Think piper uses a different baffle system than Milltek, reactive (reflective) or absorptive (dissipative), can't recall which...

What's the cost of the milltek sports cat section and is it compatible with all of these backboxes?

For the ones that are still interrested in the Janspeed, StevenFlappy's car can be seen on the Dutch telly driving 2 laps on our A1-cirquit at Zandfoort. The program "PK" is being broadcasted the 24th March on the Dutch Channel 1 at 16:20 (UK-time zone). have fun!
