Been on a few good jobs Baja studios (titanic tank) Universal Sharm el shitz and back to basildon in a few weeks for a speedo job then off to barca for a Mckenze job. It's been fun and very hard work blah blah but it's really nice to be back in the uk for a bit and work with some of the best crews in the world. The Yanks are good but we are the best in the world thats for sure :grouphug: I can't post any thing up from the jobs I've been on whilst away because i had to sing my life away ! never mind at least I got to run round Albert sqaure thumbsup

How much time do you spend overseas per year doing this?


Never can tell
This is the most I've ever been away for.

It's nice to be home with the family.
I've got a load of work to be done in the garden finishing off the landscaping from the build.

I was like a kid yesterday at Elstree
Our House Gaffer gave me a tour of all the new HD sets they have just built
I tweeked a few lights here and there not so anyone but the two of us would notice
but I made some small changes :D

The Diving stuff is few and far between
If I had a lot more I'd take Joe on as a trainee :)

Resting now thou so I should be able to fix my airfix car AGAIN !!!!

18kw Fresnal on a 40' tower at Longcross Bit scary when the wind gets up and you have to change the colour on the front of the lamp.Posted Image

40' pfffft that all! Try this bugger in the wind and the rain as I did! By the time I got to the bottom I was absolutely drenched!!! Had to go right to the top to repair the lighting (then a few weeks later got told to go back up to turn them off as the neighbours where complaining they where too bright :9mm: )

Joe at least that looks like it was built properly !!!! My Rigger is usually 3 parts pissed or off his nut strange though I seem to trust him with my life ! That looks like a nice climb do have to put all the H & S gear on and clip on every 3" :lol:

This is true it was built well although wobbled more than a fat person doing the chuffle shuffle :lol: Had to get an external company in to go to the top to attach a line and then go up using that going up was alright coming down was a nightmare Then had to use double lanyards to clip on and lean back outside the mast so repair them!!! I admit it that was pretty scary :lol:

Why didn't you just fit a switch at the bottom of the mast?? :closedeyes:
