The difference between power at the wheels and crank on mine can be explained by power loss (transmission, tyres, ect. I got 26.7% most seem to be about 24% Power at the wheels and torque to me are most Important.

How did they estimate your 26,7 %? The only measurement they perform is on the wheels, I suppose?

Added Mani Husseins car and the engine Hi Perf Magazine tested. They performed dyno-tests on a gradually tuned engine. At the first test, straight-out-of the-box, the got 168 Bhp at the crank shaft. I suppose that a few extra horsepower can be released with some mileage, so whithout any inlet and outlet restrictions and with optimum fuel mixture the engine produces ~170 crankshaft hp.

Interesting. I am planning the same mod. Not clear however: does the 93 dBA clear a MOT test? Is it VERY loud?? Or is it just lovely????

So with an increased to bhp and torque, what 0-60 and 0-100 times are we talking ? I'm thinking of the exhaust and remap mod and trying to get a feel of what you get for the increase in performance cheers

Strange thing the sound. Don't know about anybody else, but with the milltec its as quite as standard when its cold, but after 3 or 4 miles it wakes up and sounds the tits. Lovely :D

Have bought the full Milltek system now, and will install it as a spring time project, maybe after the MOT test. Have added a result from a german test, where a standard VX/Speedster had 120 hp at the wheels.

Here is a graph from a "Rototest" measurement on a VX220.

http://www.rototest.com/index_real.htm

"Some, of the many, superior attributes of the ROTOTEST VPAâ„¢ chassis dynamometer compared to a traditional "rolling road" system is its high measurement accuracy thanks to the patented principle of direct wheel hub coupling and measuring method. This combines the best of both worlds - the benefit of testing complete vehicles on a chassis dynamometer with the accuracy of an engine dynamometer. "

...obviously 10 hp is lost in the contact between road surface and wheel

CP Power at wheels: 128.9 bhp My bhp figures seem a little lower than the others but torque figures seem pretty good. Guess it might be due to the warmer weather we had on Wednesday... ... I NEED gas flowed head ... ooohhhh ... ligtened flywheel ... ooohhh ... and ... and ....everything!!!!! :P

Sounds great! Interesting to see the outcome of that. Since I started this thread I´ve bought a "full Milltek", and it might be even more investments this spring, I fear...
