Before I get myself into an argument here, I am quite willing to accept that people truly believe what they post...but that doesn't make it a fact!... ...did the guys running the RR have any incentive to feed you B.S. DAZ?...without wishing to insult you I just cannot see the standard NA with K&N induction cone or panel filter producing 180BHP under normal conditions and with no further mods!...it would be a one off freak result!

How are we ever going to get a table of reliable information?...
Everybody will want to 'big up' their figures...and then there are trolls!!!

Thats the reason I added that hp@wheels column. If it is measured at the wheels then it is there, provided that the dyno itself is calibrated and of good quality.

So keep posting them hp@wheels figures cheers

& don't come back.

The K&N induction kit it only good for about 4bhp (I have one myself as you can see in the table). I'm struggling with the concept of ANY induction kit or filter giving more than a few horses (however good they sound :) )

But Daz, your figures dont add up to it being at the wheels, the torque figure is a bit too low. Horsepower = torque x rpm / 5252. If you do the maths with what you've got you end up with about 120whp which would seem more likely. Please post up your graphs when you can. Does anybody else have their plots posted up anywhere? Scott.

Looking forward to getting mine tested again when Regal get their new rollers installed. Since the figures i gave you it has had a further remap which showed a usefel improvement in a before and after session on Regals knackered RR in the area where it was tailing off before. Will let you know the results when i have them Paul

I can vouce for Daz's grapths i did see them, even if i suspect a fluke result, given the Atmopheric conditions of late (not on the grapths i seem to remember), nice cold dense air, with a little bit of RR error it is possible i would think. I know of some RR'ds in the past have been known for tweeking the Dynos tuning to give better results. (Anyone live in Leamington Spa?) What is really needed is another RR day somewhere so everyones car can be RR'd back to back to eliminate some of the error. Blanche.

Okie doke....time has come for another RR day. AmD are happy to host another one and I'll see what Vauxhall want to bring. I'll get a couple of dates and post up a poll.

Great, but can we make it when it's a bit warmer. Too bloody cold for standing around at the moment. I know cold dense air is better for the power figures but that don't matter since we're all being done on he same day. Paul

Can't we make the RR somewhere else so we can get independent results from cars that have been tuned by AMD? G-Force for example.
