Dunno, but they should clearly see it on the top speed if it is there. Perhaps 230 instead of 217 km/h with 180 hp and 227 with 170-175 hp.

Has someone already tried Milltek exhaust & cat with DBilas induction manifold?

Not to my knowledge no.

After working on PaulCP's car its pretty clear that the dblas does make a 5-10bhp gain but only at very high end of tune (cams, flywheel, gas flowed head) without this work done as well the dhlas doesn't do an awful lot.

I hesitate between a Milltek complete exhaust line and a DBilas manifold... Or maybe both... What is for you the best first step? My total budget is about 2000£.

The Milltek HAS to be the best alternative. Lovely sound and a clear BHP increase. Id the AmD figures are true 170-ish output is possible with their remap. The DBilas will only help you when you have the "full exhaust+gasflowed head-race+ cams" package, if Thorneys observations are correct.

I agree with you. ;) I would like to remap my ecu too, but I live in Belgium, near Germany. AmD is very far for me! :( And I don't trust the local tuners.... By the way what about Milltek vs Regal (very shortly because I suppose this topic has been discussed many times)?

You could drive to Hockenheim for the Tuning show w/e 30-31st May as AMD can do remaps while they are there, poss alternative for you instead of driving to England.
speak to Thorney about it.

John.

Great news, indeed! I may be down there just then and I badly need a remap, preferably the AmD one. The won´t have any means for RR finetuning then, I gather? Imnotworthy Imnotworthy

Hello Jean Meurtrier :)

I have the same problem, I required has AMD they said that the car must obligatorily be on their premises, on the bench! :( :(

AmD's general view is that they will only install remaps on their RR. However as Scott (owner of AmD) and Phil (owner of Milltek) are travelling to Hockenheim I've suggested he could do a few re-maps and Scott has agreed. This isn't a normal thing but in the circumstances seemed like a good idea. I'll speak with Scott to see how/what he wants to do.

Yes, good idea. So, I suppose the remaps won't be done on a bench in Hockenheim. Will it be as much efficient as a remap on their RR?
