My daffy neighbour reversed into the side of my car a few months back and while it has taken my insurance company an age to sort themselves out, (spent £6,000 on a courtasy car rental at £100 per day over an argument with me about £500 on the tender quotation, essentially i wanted a new panel and their inspector said it was repairable, inevitabally i won the argument), the body shop at Picador sholing stand as a shining beacon of how vauxhall dealerships should be. Ive had bad experiences in the past with inchcape vauxhall in exeter and vowed never to return, definately not for a sill panel replacement. The staff, mike in particular, at picadors were professional and concise and their work was about as good as you could hope to expect anywhere. Work took a week longer than they planned but the car looks, feels and sounds better put together now than it was new. Plus they welded the bracket on my milteck back together, lifetime guarentee lol although they didnt tighten the passenger side door pin correctly but i fixed that in minutes at home. When i picked mine up there were two NA's in a blue and yellow one. Would be nice to hear if you have similar experiences. PS if anyone ever needs their drivers side sill panel replacing and any garages tell you that you wont have a vin plate after the work is done they are lying. several garages wanted to repair the damaged panel and used the excuse that i wouldnt have a vin plate after as a main reason. Picadors sent a copy of my log book to vauxhall and i have a nice new one on the new panel. chinky chinky To Mike and Picadoors - im a very happy chappy now after being so worried initially.

:yeahthat: Picador sorted my silver NA out last year, after I had a little bump, and they were excellent. thumbsup

That yellow one would be mine. My neighbour decided to revise into it about a week ago. Bits of clam everywhere, so waiting for a new one to be fitted. Mike seems like a very nice bloke. Only quibble is that they originally said two weeks, and now it's three. Fingers crossed it wont be much longer than that. The BMW 320 hire car is rubbish!
