You have to go through your local dealer mate - just go onto the Lotus website and tap your postcode in.

I fitted mine in June 2007 after I saw this mod on Marks car.

(he also has a fitting guide on his webpage) -HERE-

They look like this on my car:

I think they're ok, nice to have something different, but a bit too fussy and curvy for the VX chinky chinky

Ordered a set myself on Wednesday from my nearest Lotus dealer and he said there was 3 sets left in stock. Not sure what the delay is after they have gone? Mine will be with me Monday ;) Going to respray the std ones also and see which I like the most - I am getting them so I can go faster on track LOL :D:D:D:D:D

That shouldnt be too bad then. A quick flat and polish should ease that. A magnetic ratcheting screwdriver should be ok for safe screw removal shouldnt it. Not really looked into the mounting screw holes yet. One for the weekend.

Should be ok if you can fit it through the access hole (pretty small). Of the three fixings, one is phillips [the deepest one] and the other two are allen head :)

Id just like the thank the pioneers of this mod for the guidance - made it very easy for us last night thumbsup A few little 'Top Tips' that i picked up... IF you loose a bolt in the door (i did once on either side) simply use a magnet underneath the door skin and drag the screw towards the inspection cover above the door latch, youll hear it dragging along. Once you have it in sight, pop a long reach/flexi/telescopic magnet (£6 from Halfrauds or get a cheaper one elsewhere - amazing little tools!!) through the inspection hole and pick it up - 20 second job thumbsup When using your allen key/screwdriver to take out the bolts, use the above magnet to help further magnetise the allen key so the bolt doesnt fall off in the first place :) We simply used a large file to shave off around ~2-3mm from the bottom of the wing mirror plinth, that's all you need. Theres no real need for heavy-duty cutting or rotary sanading. I was somewhat paranoid about this beforehand, as no-one really went into much detail on this part :) Pics tonight if the sun pokes out :)
