Or I suppose I could spray the heads of the bolts with the same Halfords black paint!! :)

If you get the VW/Audi version of the bolt covers, they fit without any trimming as they are shorter (at least they do on my TD's) and they even come with 4 "special" covers suitable for the locking bolts. thumbsup

Wish I'd known that - took bloody ages with a hacksaw

But you'll need to spray them whilst they're on the car in order to stop them chipping when you tighten them up.

And I got home this morning to find some big boxes of lovely black 5-spokes to go on the tubby. Pity I'm too skint to buy the rubber immediately. Many thanks to Mandarin for sorting this out for us.

Can only see these ones currently. They're a titanium/dark silver kind of colour but I've seen black ones on there before.

Cool.. I assume the ones I found would do the job, but just without the added security of the ones you've found?

Still not got mine. I fcuking hate delivery companies no we can't tell you what time we're coming, but if you pay us an extra £££ we can, oh but the best bit is you go on the collect from depot option and they want you to specify what time your going to come and pick them up!!! W@nkers

Can't really say yet as they left the tyre pressures at 32 psi all round so the front was a bit vague driving home although the brakes felt much more assured. This may also be down to the wider fronts, or coming from 5 year old front bridgies.

Also i can confirm that the 205/50 R16 tyres fit and don't rub (on my standard VXT) however there isn't much room for movement 2-3cm.

Hi mandarin Great idea and I have just purchased some at the same deal from the factory. Do you know what tyre sizes are best? cheers TVX
