After being fcuked around by the delivery company, and it being sorted out as soon as I emailed Stephanie at compomotive thumbsup, I've just recived my wheels. :groupjump: After inspecting them I can say in my opinion that they are the best wheels available for the VX in terms of looks (multispokes don't do it for me), weight (they're ligther than the VXR Speedlines), usablity (I had the Mag. Speedlines and was constanly worried about scratching them). These will be lighter than the speedlines as the back of the spokes have channels in the to reduce the amount of material in the spokes without loosing strength, the mag speedlines I had didn't have these and I assume they used the same pattern as the alloy ones.

I'm running 205 fronts with Gaz, set very low at the moment too - no rubbing If you're worried about rubbing on the rear go for 225 tyres, as they are the standard size thumbsup

Anybody else had problems with the chrome centre's coming loose on the fronts? Just completed a 1900 mile jaunt in the alps where the fronts would have been heated up quite a bit. The caps are now really loose. I had the AP brakes, Gaz coil overs, 205/45/16 & 225/45/17 GS3D's fitted and a fast road geo done all at the same time. On those Alpine passes it was awesome. I must say the car has been transformed and looks amazing too. (see page 17) I was a bit worried about it being overgripped but I don't miss the understeer the 175 bridgestones provided

yep when I've put teh new wheel on they will be off for a refurb, and then kept in the loft until such time as the car may be sold, speedlines are getting to hard to get to risk.

the compomotives are even harder to get as there are about a 1/3 the number of set compared to the speedlines.

Not had a problem myself - in fact these centre caps fit much better than the old aluminium design. are they fully engaged - you should be able to hear them 'click' into place :)

When it stops raining, I'll get some better pics of mine up. Don't think that will help you much, 'cos it looks even better now I've got my Gaz on and it's got a proper ride height..
