Is the manufacturer going to make any more sets for themselves?
If not, I may take a punt on a 2nd set and then put them on ebay - speculative but surely someone would buy at a later stage if they're no longer available.
Danger of this hanging around is that more people will drop out as circumstances change etc.

It's crossed my mind to buy more sets in order to get the run manufactured and then sell later, probably stick them on ebay with a reserve of what's been paid for them and see what they get to - I couldn't afford to 'lose' money. What's putting me off is wondering how much demand they'd be in few months time seeing as we haven't managed to get the GB up to 30 so far?

Personally, I'd go silverI keep dithering about whether I want to or not have these wheels probably because I can't decide what colour would be best on a Coral Blue VXT with std silver V and silver windscreen surround.

If you're upgrading from standard then it is 1.5" difference, and it will make a difference on the feel - it will feel much betterSecondly I'm wondering whether the extra 0.5inch width on the front is going to have an impact on the "feel" of the car.

I've got the silver Mag speedlines on a Blue turbo and they look sh*t hot, I'll post up pics when I get chance to take some.

Thanks Winstar, much appreciated.
Next questions, the old chesnut of ABS, I note some folk say it is worse and some say they haven't noticed any difference and some folk have the VXR ABS module. The rolling circumference is reduced by 3.7% when switching to 195/50/16's or 2% if 205/50/16's are used.
There is supposedly a 5% tolerance on the ABS unit so I would presume either of the above tyres mean the ABS is triggered earlier.
So what is the consensus of opinion on the ABS if running 195/50/16's?
Secondly any pictures of with std suspension and 195/50/16's or 205/50/16's? Am I going to find tramps sleeping under the arches because the gap is so large?
Thanks
John

Here's a few pics of mine with 17/16" wheels on standard suspension, looks fine imo (but the Gaz were so cheap I couldn't resist!) - I'm running the 195/50/16 tyres

Maybe jumping the gun here....but when I had my original speedlines refurbished on vxr37 I also sourced a local printer to make me replacement speedline corse decals for each wheel ie set of 4, they cost £4.99 the set, they are like the originals, as in white, same letter type and size,if anyones interested I am sure they would have kept the design and hence reproduced. Pete.
I'd appreciate teh details anway please Pete
my speedlines need refurbing and thast whats held me off so far, getting replacement stickers
