Oh my freaking God - that is truly revolting. Poor Speedster :( Your chum should have ensured it got rehomed and nursed back to health asap.

He's more interested in Detroit heavy metal (big V8's) than delicate speedsters, christ only know's what it was done for.

A couple of the offerings from the Czech Speedster club customs......

Part one

Posted Image

Part 2

Posted Image

always strikes a quesion when i think that, in Czech owners forum there are only 20 odd cars... yet a quarter of them have been modified... why then the relatively small number of UK cars being modified in the same way?

edit: added a couple of pics for the lazy clickers

The front of the second one is

Could it be that relative to the average wage, the bling bling cars are totally unaffordable to pretty much everyone in places like Czech Republic - so people bling up a more affordable car to look unaffordable and more like exotica?

Here of course Ferraris, Lambos etc aren't that rare...

Could be botox...

Ive seen a fair number of ferraris, even got a wave from a lambo driver last time i was in Bratislava........ these cars are rare enough in these parts alone to be classed as something special even without the "exotica" tag

edit: infact ive thought the same about the german speedsters too - more common to see them modified bodywise i thought compared to the number around.

I think us Brits are quite close to our hand built plastic boxes from Norwich! Also, much of Europe cannot alter the engine power can they? Thats our problem - We always 'need' more power... :D Before more power we need more braking and handling... I honestly think most of the modified jobs on the VX look gash. I do love the Black ATS DTC wheels though :P

That green VX is proper nasty!!! Each to their own, but come on, did the owner really stand back and say....yeah, I like it!!! The mandarin front end is quite nice although the arches are a bit 'bolt on'. As for the silver offering - front end is WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Wheels look too small for the arches (although the brakes / disks look good) Maybe us Brits are far more restrained. The odd splitter here, a diffuser there, thats enough for us! :P

Silver one's front looks like Andy Burton's 306 Cosworth rally car. I quite like the ferrari 360-esque front of the orange one.

Looks like it has been changed to suit function rather than form. Maybe to compete in rallycross or some thing? It wouldn't be the first VX to be modded to deal with such things.
