Wonder where other folks names came from on here? may be a topic worth starting..think I'll do a search first though.

There definitely is a thread already... :)

:D

But you didn't explain what made you think of your name in the first place. I too have always been curious since you registered - I was expecting som eccentric tree hugger going through a mid-life crisis. I was really surprised to find out you're a cool, young guy! However, I think it suits you because you do come across as slightly barking - that's in a good way by the way :)

I still keep in contact with the first ever person I spoke to on the net. Jenny Schwartzberg from Baton Rouge in Louisiana. We met at 15 discussing Nirvana and Ocean Colour Scene and now we're both almost 27 still mail back n forward

I  that - it's so cool.

yeh it is. and never fails to surprise me we lost contact for a year or so at times but always manage to catch up. heard from her a couple of months ago for the first time in 2 years. here's her last mails, see if you can pick out what i'd been speakin to her about. ..turns out its history not archaeology...i'm sure she was doing that before though anyways...: ---- hey scott! sorry it's been so incredibly long since i've written. i hope everything is going well with you! i've been living in georgia for the past few years - i'm studying history at the university of georgia. it's nice here, although i do miss louisiana. if you get a chance, i'd love to hear from you! jen ----- scott, everyone here is constantly complaining about gas prices, even though they are way lower than what y'all have to pay. plus if people just stopped driving huge SUVs for no reason, they wouldn't have to buy as much anyway. it's ridiculous how many students at the university drive SUVs and pickup trucks. anyway, that's my rant :). i'm so glad to hear that you're doing so well! and i love german shepherds!! we got a corgi last summer - his name is manny and he is totally awesome :). and i am super impressed by your car - very fancy :). AND i looked at your pictures - your girlfriend is gorgeous!! yeah, so i'm still in school :). i finished a MA in religion about a year ago, and have just finished my first year working towards a MA in history. my area of concentration is 19th and 20th century Germany, so i'm also taking German, which is proving to be alot more difficult than i'd anticipated. and yep, i got married about 2 years ago. and married life really isn't any different - we'd lived together for a year before, and that was tough at times. but when you live together and get to know someone so well, marriage isn't any more difficult :). plus i think that way too many people jump into marriage without realizing the gravity of it - several of our friends have gotten divorced in the past year, which is really awful. and yeah, i can't believe we've stayed in touch this long, that's so awesome :). but everytime someone asks me what the ocs in my yahoo email stands for, i think of you! jenny --- Not replied to her yet I really should, now that you've reminded me. Scott.

Ok well where it originates is that i used to (well still try to when i can) ride BMX, and i was never in to street riding, but occasionally did some park riding, however in the woods........thats where it is at (trails). We spent best part of about 5 years digging big holes in the woods to make some jumps. Then we started getting bigger and better. So we ended up creating some pretty big jumps down the bottom (about 30ft gaps id say). ramble ramble.......

Well anyway the next part is.... my first decent bmx frame was a Ryan Sher signature model called the Freebird, by Kink bike co. That is where the freebird bit came from. (not Lynyrd Skynyrd as most seem to think)

Oh yeah the mad bit came from my first XBL tag where just freebird was taken so i had to put something infront of it, and there is like a random word generator and about the 4th one that came up was mad and i thought that sounded ok, it does kinda work because i am mad lol

Do you still ride?? You should come down to crawley skate park

I have not been on my BMX for about a year now, i screwed up my ACL in my left knee overhipping a 20ft jump at whickam!

I tend to skate these days because getting a skateboard in a VX is not where near as hard as it would be getting a bike in haha.

I go down crawley park alot its pretty decnt now it is concrete and the street section is awesome. I have not been down there on my bike though, i would be terrible now haha
