Perfect idea - written in the style of car ads

Heres one for you H.

For sale - 30yrld something Bristol Barn find.

A sporty little number with no external modifications, Bodywork is intact, gearbox seems fine but you'll struggle to get into 2nd if your screw it when cold . Imaculate cloth interior but would benifit from leather and maybe a bit of pin-stripping.

Engine managment [brain] up-graded, so it's quick to respond and abit thirsty on long runs.. but gives great performance, loud exhaust quite happy to pop and bang all day.

Last owner may have neclected her abit so imo it could do with a REALLY good service and a little lubrication here and there, you might want to take it around the block a few times just to blow the cob-webs off

Ideal for learner or as a second run about - maybe a winter banger?

mate I don;t know how to take that I've got a mate from Kilwinning though so I've heard about the locals down that way, 14 toes and 3 bums and the likes.

That is disturbingly accurate though Rick, albeit a little light on the plus's - who've you been talking to I thought there may be something in there about quick to bite, and keen to kick the back-end out when provoked - resulting in inability to steer or control, necessitating the driver just hang on tight for the ride

Driving it daily will only wear parts out quicker, the joints start to squeek, the gear box gets loose.. you just can't abuse it - next thing you know some other guy is servicing her and you end up paying a fortune for the pleasure. Aheem, Some of us men look after our winter bangers just as much as our weekend toys mind!! - I'll like to keep them well serviced, polished and rarrrrrring to go, i also have no favorites, they both get driven just as hard as each other
