Assuming everybody's happy with this, I'll PM the person who confirmed it was Chris and find out if we can send some flowers to Chris' family and then donate the rest to a charity nominated by his family. Once we know the charity, I'll set up a Just Giving page. Sorry to talk logistics, but I think the best way to handle the above is if the first few donations are made to my PayPal account, then I can purchase flowers online and get them sent. Any surplus, I will donate to the Just Giving page. I will let you know once we have enough for flowers, and then all remaining donations can be made on the Just Giving page. I will provide full transparency throughout. Is everyone happy with this? Better suggestions welcome. :grouphug:

Thanks for your messages, and the PM. I will pass the message onto one of Chris's closer mates, and get back to you with the details. If anyone wishes to pay their respects in the meantime, people are laying flowers at the crash site, opposite the Oakley Court hotel on the A308

That's very sad news indeed, such a waste of a young life. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of all concerned, also with the vx'ers who have spent time with Chris as I can't imagine how you must be feeling. :grouphug: Thanks H for orgainising flowers, that's a really nice idea. know it's already been said but let us know what you need us to do and/or if you need any help.

Disturbingly sad news, RIP, hope GF pulls though It always hits hard when you hear sad tales like this, Hopefully journalists are sensationalising the story and GF will tell it like it is.
