I think option two, would be best, if I was in Chris's family, the last thing I would want to be reminded of would be the car and its colour :( Anyway, thanks Y or B for stepping up thumbsup :grouphug: J

Thanks H for doing this, its really appreciated. I knew Chris for all but a short while. He always had time to talk to me at the various meets even though I'm an old fart! Very saddened by all this. I know that Chris was quite proud of the fact that Colmar blue was such a rare colour for the VX. I also know how proud he was of his car. For those reasons i would favour any tribute which was as close to colmar blue as you could get it. Thanks again H thumbsup

Either of the first 2 options would be my choice. Well done Y or B for arranging all of this, you've done a superb job. Imnotworthy

Oh Christ, I don't know what to do now

My gut is option two - I hope everyone is happy with this choice. If it is possible, I will ask the florist to replace one of the stems with a single blue flower. Does this seem like a good compromise? It may not be possible though.

So, the flowers will be £60 + £3.99 delivery = £64. My suggestion is that all those who would like to contribute to the flowers state your contribution amount below, and the total left - until we get to £0. Nothing is too small - so please give what you can. I will then PM all of you my PayPal acount, and if you could please donate there. Once completed, I will order the flowers and post up a receipt here. I haven't heard back from Zoe with an address, so bear with me for confirmation. I'd like to be ready to order though :)

Likewise, once I have heard from her I will set up the Just Giving page in memory of Chris - for everyone to donate. If it is possible, I will acknowledge on the Just Giving page everyone who donated to the flowers.

Hope this is ok with everyone.

I worry a little that references to the car and colour may upset them a little given the circumstances. Well done YoB

Well it is about his family too Scuba. These flowrers are going to his family, not Chris. Just saying we are all different and handle things differently. I am easy with any of the options personally. yob £9 Al £10 boghouse £5 BVS £5 Sitol £20 meo £20 RMC £10
