 My money is on a Porsche winning, the Mosler is fast but heavy on brakes and prone to overheating very few have managed to finish a 24 hour race in one piece, if the lead Porsche stumbles (could be clutch) the M3 GTR's are consistent and should run strong. Cheers Ian

The Paragon Porsche is fighting back lapping very quickly. Aston's & Ginetta's going well Thorne is lapping consistently.

Now in 31, with a 7 lap lead over following car ( albeit catching up at around 10s / lap )

After set backs the VX is out again (not sure of prob) albeit lapping slower than in prev 23 hours, its a case of hanging on now pos 35 - safety car is out - the Porsche is 3 laps ahead followed by the Aston. The star of the race is the Lotus Exige in fifth place, ran consistently and lapped at close to race pace for the entire race. Safety car is coming in its a last 20 min sprint to the end. The Porsche has probable wheel bearing problems so can't push too hard, it could be a classic finish but its highly probable the Porsche still has the legs, but as they say its not over the fat lady sings :)

Well done guys :)

Good luck to TMS - but I have to say that I was a little disappointed at the lack of response of my offer of help as requested by John in original post. Even a 'thanks but no thanks' wouldn't have gone amiss.

I know he is a busy chap but it would have taken about 30 seconds to reply to my PM :(

I thought the same...

Hats off to all the drivers and pit crews (and marshals thumbsup ) such an achievement and an extra special congrats to thorney motorsport who i kept a eye on their progress and was very proud to be a vx owner :D
