If you get snow, let us know.
How much, where and if it settled.
When any heavy falls come over the next few months, we could track it across the country.
Tiny bit this morning, nothing major.

Look at you getting excited about snow! Sorry to disappoint, but we live on the south coast, we don't get any real snow anymore! Just a little flurry every now and then, maybe some ice.

Yeah, tell me about it Dan, we never get any real snow, but then the UK in general doesn't get much. Although the first Sunday in April last year we had loads!! It just didn't last much beyond lunchtime!!If you get snow, let us know.

How does that work though, because the air pressure at ground level certainly not for most of us, doesn't get anywhere near as low as that, forgive me, I'm confused.
its the location at which at 5280meters the pressure is 500mb, at sea level somewhat more ( but still low enough that air temperature has dropped substantially ). Ie. watch out in higher places like the hogs back at guildford ( around 150meters ), where air temperature would be colder.
