Bring it on, I got a 4x4 this year for the snow. Last year was impossible getting up my road (winding hill) ended up having to leave it on someones driveway (not intentionally, just where it stopped at the bottom of the hill). Managed to do 80mph standing still in my automatic cosworth scorpio!

We are going to Betswy Coed on the 26th Dec to 2nd Jan in our motorhome, lets hope there is some snow then. We were in it earlier in the year at Castleton Derbyshire and woke up with 4" of snow all around, fantastic stepping out from the cozy warm motorhome into the crisp new snow.

Ooooh might be tempted to take a blast over in Tubby for a cuppa with The Knobs. Off work from 22nd to the 28th

heads up , to read this chart look for the dashed line marked 528 , areas inside this ( ie. normally to the North and colder) will have very high chance of snow at sea level , and much higher at altitude

this is the 48hour chart. today this is showing the 528 line running across West of Ireland, across North france. So it looks like high chance for Thursday snow.

you say that, but you will join the end of the queue behind everyone else doing 5mph

snow tyres on VX , they have been surprising good at two wet Silverstone trackdays. £30 each lol 205/50/16 + 225/45/17

the little roads make a big difference, you can go round the ones that are stuck.
