I know it isnt a vx220 but i thought yous might be interested as it uses the map from a vx220 (flashed to a 1.2 corsa sxi ecu)

good attempt at trying to make a vx220 turbo: black lights turbo engine 2 seats momo steering wheel all i have to say is "blut blut aint it mwah kiss my teeth bruv" :lol:

its on coilovers. yes i know it still wont handle as good as the vx220

the mirrors are standard on a corsa sri.

looks uber clean, especially under the bonnet. Do you ever drive it :)


it gets driven hard every weekend mate, got a work van for during the week thumbsup

chinky chinky Nice matey. Had a Corsa B SRI years ago and would've loved to a big conversion on it at the time. But funds didnt allow and insurance would've killed me too, I was only 18. Many happy times. No back seats though? and seats that don't recline? you haven't given it much thought have you :P Enjoy mate. Scott.

How much have you spent on it? Looks like a lot. The mirrors comment was a joke, it's because the VX220 uses Metro mirrors, he was saying we'll have Metro owners on here as we share their mirrors, because you've posted saying we share an engine. Looks a tidy conversion

Welcome! Nice looking motor mate. Ignore some of the negative comments, doesn't matter if it aint a 220, we're all petrol heads at the end of the day.

Seen this on our corsa forum owning one myself. Was gonna pop a 2.0t in my corsa but then bought a vx220 instead.

Cheers for the comments! Yeah it does surprise quite a few cars but is known around my area now so it's no fun anymore lol. To be honest the handling is quite good for the twisties aswell. I've spent around 3k on the conversion and 1k on other bits and pieces.
